I know this is long over due but these past few weeks my life suddenly got so unbelievably busy and I couldn't post anything but here you go!
So I've started reading Patrick Ness' "The Knife of Never Letting Go" and even though I haven't progressed much into the book, I already like the story. It talks about a town where people can hear each other's 'Noise' which is basically their thoughts. There can be no secrets and no privacy for the townspeople. All the female population in the town have died because of diseases caused by 'Spackles'. But a month before Todd Hewitt, the main character, turns 13 and becomes a man, he comes across a spot of complete silence. And he has to keep it a secret. So he has to run away from Prentisstown, and find somewhere to hide. And as he is running away, he stumbles upon the most strange sight ahead of him, it was a girl hiding in the woods. But he has to keep moving for the whole town is after him to learn more about this spot of complete silence.
Interesting events! Why are only the females perishing?
